Peak #2 of my 6POP 2019 was at Sitton Peak with members from Hikerbabes Community: Inland Empire and SoCal Trailmixers. I came expecting 9 people and was welcomed with 25 at trailhead! Largest group ive ever hiked with. Not a huge fan of super large groups but since we were doing this one back in the dark during the eclipse it was like a warm security blanket. Started trail at 2:30pm, the trail was clear and pleasant, weather was overcast and cool. Last .5 was a beast of an incline. Caught the sunset up top and it was beautiful. Clocked about 11 miles round trip. Watched the lunar eclipse and made several new friends! What a hike!
